And as for "clamming up" giving the impression that I'm a jerk ... you've never seen someone who had a bad day and didn't want to talk to anyone? You've never seen someone whose been distracted and didn't want to engage in conversation? You've never met a terminally shy person who didn't have their helping of Powdermilk Biscuits(TM) that morning? Are all those people jerks?, indeed.
Frankly, I don't give a flying leap if TSORon or anyone else of his ilk thinks that I am a jerk. I only value opinions of those whom I respect, which excludes any TSA employee. |

You are aware that the "underwear bomber" boarded the plane in the United Kingdom, right? And that the United Kingdom is not a part of the United States, right? And that the TSA only screens folks in US airports, right?
:rolleyes::rolleyes: The TSA wanted, got, and approved the BDO-style practices to screen the passengers on the US-bound flight operated by the US carrier from AMS-DTW which had the "underwear bomber" on it. The TSA propaganda machine hasn't come to the realization that not all of the public are so ignorant as to miss the TSA's foreign adventures. ;) |

If this BDO thing is so good why haven't any of the TSA BDO's identified one of TSA's thieves, sex perverts, drug dealers or even a real terrorist?
Do you want me to share what kind of answer, if any, you will get to your question? |

TSA's BDOs won't ever have to speak a moment with me to learn how I feel toward them. All they need to do is look at three fingers on my upturned hand and "read between the lines" while I freely assert my First Amendment rights.
I've said it before and will say it again... TSA is a wasteful organization that adds nothing to airline security while wasting billions of taxpayer dollars. Heck, they can't even account for where all their money goes-- neither they nor DHS has been able to pass a government audit since its inception. I guess they do as good a job of tracking dollars as they do of finding bottled water hidden in carry-ons and other "contraband" carried aboard our nation's air fleet on a daily basis. |

TSA-wanted-and-approved BDO practices were in play for the flight with the failed "underwear bomber". So much good that TSA-wanted-and-approved voodoo "security" did for that flight.

You're lucky that real voodoo doctors don't have a union (do they?) otherwise you'd be in trouble for insulting them by comparing them to BDOs. :D :D
Would it be acceptable to take a TSA smurf doll to the airport and stick it with pins in plain sight of the TSA? |

There are a lot of angry people who visit this FT forum. Perhaps everybody would be a little better off if this tone were taken down a notch or two.
