Um, how 'bout not doing this one? It's hard enough for those of us who are hard of hearing to be treated decently going through security.

I deeply apologize if I have offended. That was not my intent. I have seen a large number of deaf and HOH friends deal with airport security. My comments were more directed at the TSOs who don't know what to do with people they can't effectively yell at.

My last post of the night, and my last post on this subject, as it's become sooo off topic.
I originally told TK something, and I was questioned by other regarding what I said. I answered, was asked more questions and given comments. I answered those, and so on, and here we are.
Now as to what you said: i never said there was a law requiring us to report items other than sop. But I do not want to get into an argument about due diligence. I will stop reporting obviously illegal items found (which is such a seldom event for the individual tso) when someone shows me I am not allowed to do so. Some here can not seem to recognize the difference between looking for something, and reporting what is obviously in front of you.
About your question about identifying drugs: you assume alot about me, without knowing me. TSA does not train us to identify drugs; but why assume anything else about me, my personal life, history and so on? I honestly mean no disrespect when I say this; honestly.
If you really want a discussion on these topics you asked, pm me. Other than that I wish TK the best I his trip! I hope he get the response he wants - which of course we all know is to have tso's do their job responsibly.

Wear a jacket without a shirt. Wait for them to insist that you take off your jacket.
Wear a tee shirt with the consent to recording message. Make it clearly legible. Don't carry recording implements.
The idea about the 1 oz bottle with the lable "5 gallons" is gold, and the shoe socks is silver.

then why do the drug stores sell the daily compartment type storage boxs?
I have four small sample pill bottles I use when I travel for AM and PM pill needs. It beats dragging out the whole 90 day supply bottles.

How about carrying the following five-pack:
The fifth one is just there to draw attention. I haven't taken my freedom baggie out of my carry-on for the past eight flights, and no one has said a word about it. The liquid threat level must be pale orange or so.
- full 3oz bottle labeled 4oz
- full 4oz bottle labeled 3oz
- full 3.4oz bottle labeled 3.4oz
- full 3.4oz bottle without a label
- full 1-quart bottle

Print out a copy of the classified leaked screening manual.
Put it in a bin all by itself to be screened.
I guess to make sure the look at it, print the covers on a heavy foil covered paper.
