If this is correct then somebody who comes on here only for an iPod, or to tell us that George Bush is going to blow up the world, or that that John Kerry is Osama Bin Ladin's cousin is just as valuable as the most knowledgable frequent flier.

2. The second school believes in demographics. It feels that you waste time, money, and effort is reaching people who are not apt to buy your product. To this mind, frequent flyers are not a good market for trailer park advertisements but are incomparable for airlines or hotels.

It is Randy's right to decide which school he belongs to and to encourage posters based on that decision.
Or, maybe there's a third school where among the unwashed masses of iPod chasers are a few hidden gems who become major contributors to FT. The next Dovsters, if you will.

Sirecca, that is a vicious and uncalled for attack upon the iPod posters!

Perhaps you did not fully understand the intent of this thread.

Randy,

I'm not sure you're still monitoring this thread, but I'd like to reaffirm my request. I just read a post that lead me to posting on this thread again:

Found on page 116, post #1729 by a poster with 70 posts as of right now in regards to someone who broke the Conga rules by reposting their link to get more people to use it:

These newbs are starting to piss me off by posting their referral links here without following the rules and expecting people to just 'help' them, or even worse... leeching off this site's users by telling us to use (yet) another new conga line that's just started up. Mods should just start deleting posts immediately.
This person's 70 posts as of right now are only in SPAM and only in threads that are related to free ipods or free flat screens.

Just wanted to bring this to your attention...

Thanks,

bhatnasx
