No problem, and thanks for letting us know . . . speaking as one with perhaps an excessive concern over being liked, and whose reputation is the only business asset he has. ;)

I would like a new forum, "Bling Connection", where two consenting adults could work out transactions like "I'll bling you if you ding ___".

Could be fun. The free market at work.

Or we just rename ORP "Only Reputation Points" as that seems to be all that is getting discussed nowadays... :p

Or

Obsessed
with Reputation Points

People, give it a rest, move on, it's here to stay whether you like it or not, and we all are just going to have to live and deal with it.

Thank you

<whistle>

Move , move , there is nothing to see here, please keep it moving

;)

Wow. Thanks for the newsflash. From the Moderator Board perhaps?

So can you please post the quote from Randy that this system is "here to stay".

All I have ever seen him post is that it is NOT going to be used for other than Coupon Connection.

A very recent email from him advised he was looking into it when time allowed.

But you must know more than those 2 reference points - can you share please? Thanks

I knew all along that it was your fault. That's why I sent Randy an e-mail about you, asking him to "do something about renila!", IIRC. That's what you get.

;)

As I said, stop obsessing about it. No, there is no quote that Randy other than his original statement. Have not heard from him since then, so I am just going to take the stance that if nothing has changed yet, it probably won't. And if it does, great, one less thing to worry about.

Let's move on :)

That subscription feature is awesome, otherwise I wouldn't know you replied to this thread ;)

Thanks for the clarification. The earlier totally unsubstantiated statement you made that this system is "here to stay" I will now regard as just that - your personal wild guess. :D

Trouble with being a moderator and being privy to inside info at times is that some might have read your post (especially in this Forum) and wrongly assume it was made with some FACTS to back it. ;)

So can we agree Randy so far has posted NOTHING on FT other than:

Posted by Randy Petersen April 4. (Bolding mine)

Really what we had in mind, in case you haven't come across it, the reputation is designed only for The Coupon Connection forum to help members who may find themselves engaged in a trade or exchange with another member they don't know.

Which is about 80%-90% of what you post in ORP ;)

Then again, you don't have to carry the burden of upholding the law, and being vigilant 24 hours a day.

I feel like spider-man :D

Take it easy dude, if the whole reputation thing is eventually going to go away, don't worry about it. The RP in ORP will take care of it.

Now go and enjoy a beautiful day, or night :)

:)

Sean old mate, just change your handle to B747-438 - that'll sort out the Quantas problem...

Aaah. What a difference a couple of days makes.

"Never quote something as FACT that has not been decided". Ancient Australian proverb. ;)

Glen, I just love your gloating over the pulling of the reputation feature.
