If you had read the other thread, then it would become clear that lots and lots of wonderful things come up in search that don't actually exist. You cannot actually book them though. You get "error message 183" or any of another of several other error messages. You cannot redeem this coupon on Delta, so I'm unclear on the relevance of the SkyMiles redemption? WP615 is *only* for Northwest metal. A scant few PerkSaver awards may work with this coupon code -- but you'd better be a Gold or a Plat, and you'd better be willing to phone if you're getting all kind of oddities. Using the web site, I was getting search after search that routed me through IAH to go from MSY to Maine. Think about that for a minute. I'm doing a search for a coupon where I can only fly on NW metal and instead of routing me through DTW or MEM, even though NW has multiple daily flights from MSY through those hubs, they put me on a CO to HOUSTON which is 180 degrees in the wrong direction simply so that the coupon won't apply. All to save them 6,000 miles per person.
I would not give this coupon to someone else unless, as part of the gift, I was willing to search for the tickets for them. Otherwise, I'm not giving them anything at all, because most people just don't have the time to sort out "stuff" like this. WP615 as it exists is not creating goodwill, and while I'm willing to tolerate a lot of guff in search of a bargain, when I'm giving somebody a gift, I don't want to also be giving them a job.

Hey, what can we say. You had issues, I didn't. I guess I'll find out this year, whenever I get my new code, and we can compare notes then. I redeem on simple routes (usuall direct flights, common routes, and far out so there's usually availability), and the last time I redeemed I was a Plat, so I had no complaints. I would have read the other thread, just didn't have time.

So you do the actual booking and the miles are coming from your account? I wanted to know if someone else can use my code to get a discount on the miles coming from their account (whether difficult or not to use as indicated by Peachfront). Has anyone done this?

I just tried using my discount code under someone else's account, and it seemed to have worked. I didn't go all the way through to booking it, but it showed the discount and no error messages.
Also, it doesn't look like you can stack them

From your previous post, it sounds like you are going to give someone else one of your codes. If you do and the booking does go all the way through with the discount, please let me know either by PM or in this thread. Thanks.

you have no idea if it worked or not
Maybe I wasn't clear. You have no idea if it "worked" because until you actually try to book, it all looks like everything is going swimmingly. I got the error messages only when I actually tried to book the flights in question. The website was even showing me the discount for flights that didn't qualify, such as flights on CO metal.
