That would mean I wouldn't be looking at a $550 price to fly to LAX next month on nwa.com (I've just been watching the fare increase steadily over time and just never pulled the trigger).

The other issues listed in this topic are being reviewed for future enhancment opportunities on nwa.com. Whenever practical, these issues will be included in ongoing fixes.

Thanks to everyone who has submitted bugs/enhancement requests so far. I'll continue to update the master thread as I have time (I'm just flying all over the place, non-stop lately).
Thanks,
RM

This is the most frustrating website I've ever worked with.
Paid Tickets - This is the one they should get right, yet it's so slow so often I've generally changed to buying tickets on Orbitz or Priceline. Yeah, I know there's a fee, but at least I'll get the tickets in a finite period of time.
The website doesn't seem to remember who I am or where I'm going as it bounces back and forth, so I'm constantly re-entering my data. The flights I get are very often not the ones I wind up buying -- does Orbitz/Priceline have access to secret inventory?
Also -- when I'm given a selection of flights, the fare classes are all spelled out. However, when you pick an outbound/return flight, the choices for the other leg don't show the classes. I often have to make several selections until I get the class I want.
Award Tickets -- OK, inventory sucks, but there is stuff out there --- if I could ever get to it. I haven't been able to look at award travel for at least two days now. It just sits there and then times out. Doesn't seem to have any relation to time of day or anything. Extremely frustrating.
I compare this with the AA or BA sites (real joys to use -- very fast, everything laid out for you) and it's like another world.
Are they using 220v servers on 110V? I can't imagine how they can be happy with the performance (and it's been this way for at least two years in my personal experience).
If I didn't have to fly NW, I'd certainly look for another carrier.

Often MEM is not listed in the first 16 flights if you do a search from the home page for a North-South intenerary. This, despite the fare being the same and the travel time being shorter.
MEM hub will be option if you select "more search options." and select flights individually. But, you often need to set to "up to 50" as the number of flights to return.

There have been several times that I have checked flight avaialability and pricing then after my login was quoted an even higher price... makes me wonder if the prices can go up based on expression of interest in a flight?

<<<<<<<... makes me wonder if the prices can go up based on expression of interest in a flight?
I have always wondered that, and wondered whether repeated checks for the trips I want to take only ultimately make that trip impossible on NW. The pricing structure and my pattern of flying make other airlines increasingly worthwhile.
But I just was checking MKE-SAT and MSN-SAT repeatedly, over a period of weeks, for next January, and on the same day of checking the MKE-SAT price went from $208 to $198 and the MSN-SAT price went from $278 to $268 so I booked the MSN-SAT for next January at $268.
I hope that NWA keeps trying to stay competitive!

The fare structure system is far too complex for that to happen based on a single persons input. Now, if I were writing code for the AL I would probably try and create an algorithm that feeds the fare engine based on "hits" to a city pair in a dynamic sense. The opposite would also be important (lack of hits or hits with no purchase) as well and if your observation were true I would think they would lower the fare if you keep looking up a trip and do no not close the deal.

Award travel booking on Delta - fix the problem that shows Delta flights, but 80% of the time gives this error when you try to select it:
There was a problem pricing this request. One or more flights may be unavailable. Please choose different flights or select another search option.
There's no indication of what DL flights are really available.

Folks...I know I'm not a moderator on this forum but I am the thread starter for this one.
Please, keep this thread to nwa.com bugs/issues/wishes ONLY. If you have something other than bugs/issues/wishes, create a new thread for it. If there's already a thread for it, DO NOT post a link in this thread for something unrelated to nwa.com bugs/issues/wishes.
At this point, NWA Scoop has not taken the same proactive role as CO Insider has on the CO Forum. NWA Scoop also made it clear in their initial post that the relationship wouldn't be the same. When, and if, NWA Scoop is ready to be like CO Insider then they will let you know. If you want NWA Scoop to check out a thread, post it in that thread! (I don't think NWA Scoop accepts or reads PMs on FT).
Thanks. I'll be updating the master thread soon.
Thanks,
RM

I've of course noticed all the similar bugs such as the "temporarily unavailable" issues, but those are usually resolved with closing the browswer and reopening it. My biggest peeve about the site though is that when I used my coupon code (pk075) it took off SIGNIFICANTLY less than the 50 dollars for a 200 to 300 dollar flight it promised. Most of the amount taken off of the final price (maybe this is due to a pre-tax deduction or somethign that makes most flights under 200?) came to around 25 dollars with only one of them coming to around 40. They probably use the same calculation system through offline bookings as well, but next time i'll surely at least try to get the full value of my coupon by calling should I get another one....

Booking a Flight DTW-BCN Issues
I have been trying to book a flight from Detroit (DTW) to Barcelona Spain (BCN) using NWA.com and no matter what I select, I get the following message:
We're sorry, there was a problem processing this search request.
I have changed seating options (I was looking at booking Business or First) and even times or dates (in case the routing was illegal with too little transit time at AMS). I have even tried the search on different browsers and different computers. Has anyone seen this issue with their searches and is it a website glitch or possibly operator error (me, which is always possible
)?
