Do the Copenhagen Card or the 24-hour transit pass include access to the train to and from Malmö? (I assume it does include the airport train to and from the main station)?

Also, is Hovedbanegĺrden, Tivoli the closest bus stop to the train station? If so, does anyone know exactly where this stop is in relation to the station itself?

Thanks for your help!

The Copenhagen Card is valid only on the Danish side, including the trains to and from the airport -but not on the Malmö trains.

I don´t know if you have got some names mixed up. The "Hovedbanegĺrden" means "Main Station" in Danish, and its right next to the Tivoli gardens. Or did I misunderstand you ?

A web site I was looking at (I don't have the link at hand) stated the above as the "suggested" place to catch the #66 bus to go from the Station to the Operean.

I plan to go out to the Operean the day before my scheduled performance to get some photos, so I will have a chance to locate the stops (unfortunately the guided tours of the interior of the theater are only given on weekends)

Thanks again, cph_flyer for your invaluable help ^

Just got back from CPH. Used the Copenhagen Card for all transit. To get to Malmo, we paid about an extra $10 each way (I think it was 120KR round trip).

Yes , you can take bus 66 to the Opera from the street between Hovedbanegĺrden and Tivoli. If you exit Hovedbanegĺrden towards Tivoli you´ll notice a "bus island" at your right hand side. You can´t miss it. Just make sure you take the 66 in the right direction "Holmen / Opera". Frequent on weekdays, one at about every 10 minutes.

My recollection is that no, the tripto Malmo is a special ticket. You can get it easily at the vending machines or the counters at the train station.

I'm not 100% certain but I would guess so-- the train station is right next to Tivoli so I can't imagine you can get much closer (or that a bus runs from the train station to Tivoli!).

From the other side, the Malmo Card reduces the cost of the train travel to Copenhagen but doesn't make it free. (10 or 20% discount IIRC.) I'd be surprised if the Copenhagen Card makes crossing the O-bridge free and know that I've paid to cross the bridge despite having the Copenhagen Card before.

I was charged this fee only two weeks ago, buying tickets to Operaen. Mastercard had lower fees than Diners, so I used that.

The bus stop is directly in front of the central train station, which is also opposite the entrance to Tivoli.
