It is, but North American readers will find more usefull information than readers in the rest of the world. I'm not sure I would keep my subscription if I lived outside the US.

I bought 364 subs and requested to recieve only one sub a year for the next 364 years,so i have ensured my great-great-great-great-grandchildren will be up to date.I think they got the idea and i have not recieved a single issue but I do read it on my frequent flights. Can you imagine hauling to the trash bin 364 mags every month?

Wow, that's a lot of subscriptions...

How many miles did you get in total?
Which program allows so many miles to be
deposited at once?

Thanks!

I believe that Starwood ended the Qantas 2:1 promotion at the start of 2003.

This is great cause now you can convert the points to AMEX and transfer them to Mexicana. Once you get them to Mexicana you can use the miles to issue tickets on LH & SQ and issue Star Alliance Award tickets.

Mexicana has the best Star Alliance award chart for International Business & First Class tickets.

That's correct -- did I imply otherwise?

MX offers one-way awards and flights to Cuba.

Am I missing the value of the AMEX offer? If I were to buy 2 Inside Flyer subscriptions, I would receive 5,000 MR points for $119.90. However, I can buy 5,000 MR points direct from AMEX for $125. I guess $5 is $5, but I'm also thinking that the latter method is the more expedient.

Cheers.

Gleff, CART_Flagmen,

Actually, it *was* 1:2, one Starwood to 2 Qantas. It is now 1:1.

Look here for the current list.

Some airlines are 1:2, some 1:1, some 2:1.
Not trying to split hairs, just clarify.

Are multiple subscriptions at $59.95? I really only "need" one copy of the FF Handbook, so can additional subscriptions be $45?

Regarding this AMEX offer is there a limit. The reason I ask this is because you can only buy upto 500,000 AMEX points in 1 year from AMEX.

Does Amex restrict the number of points or rewards coming into your account from other sources.

Thanks

That's almost $20,000 of Inside Flyer subscriptions. I suspect you are in the top few percentiles.

are there any ones without limits to how many miles you can accumulate? (or at least ones that allow you 100,000 per account?)

If I use my AMEX to buy the UA 3k bonus for a subscription, do I get the 2.5k AMEX points also?
