I generated a new coupon for 25K CO miles and used that to open a new Chase checking account online. But somehow the system is reporting that this is only an offer of 15K CO miles (12.5K from Chase + 2.5K from CO), is this normal? Or I need to talk to Chase to get it corrected?

Also, it seems I have nowhere to input my OnePASS number, I guess Chase will generate a new one for me.

Thanks!

Please share biz account online app experience

Can others confirm that this problem is now fixed? I applied online for a personal, got it, miles posted, etc. But each time I've tried for the business account online, there's an error.

Juggler, when did you apply for the business account online? And have others here done so successfully and when? Time's running out and I have no local branch. Or, could I phone the "personal banker" associated with my Chase personal checking account and open it that way? I prefer doing it online though...

I would also like to know if anyone successfully opened a business account online and got the points. Personal worked great for me online and there are no Chase branches near me.

Intermittent bug?

Must be someone out there who has tried to open a Chase business account online in the past week or so. Could it really be an intermittent bug? If anyone's stated they opened a biz account successfully online, please at least state roughly when you did so--e.g. yesterday, a week ago, a month ago, several months ago...

Time's running out for this offer, and I wouldn't want to be it's going to be extended.

My husband and me also tried to open a business account and encountered a multitude of problems while doing so, and while they were working on them, ended up opening somewhere else.

A couple people mentioned that they were able to successfully acquire the 25k miles for a minor's account, so I wanted to solicit some suggestions.

I've had no problems setting up accounts and getting mileage for my wife and I. However, when I attempted to set up a checking account for my daughter (she's 1), I ran into issues. The banker spent about 10 minutes on the phone with corporate to find out what kind of checking account could be opened for a minor. Once she finally set up the account, it wouldn't let her add a debit card. After some more more digging, she told me that the only minor checking accounts that could get a debit card were the High School checking accounts (ages 13-17, and they aren't eligible for the Continental offer).

So, for those of you that have done this, what kind of checking account did you set up for your minor child? All help is most appreciated!

When did you open the account and make your check card purchases?

Sorry you had the same troubles I encountered. Would love someone who claims to have been successful to provide details.

Has anyone tried to open a business account by phone? Especially someone who already has the personal account (like myself)?

Did you open a business or personal account? They should post automatically. I would definitely call Chase to make sure that the promotion code was on your account

Business account online or by phone? Please post successes... are there really any?

Still wondering how could applying for the business account online could work for a few people but not the vast majority. Please post your experiences if you were successful--e.g. approximate date and anything else that may be different or relevant.

Or... can I simply call in a request for the business account with the "personal banker" designated on my personal account?

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but I know I'm not the only one interested in opening a biz account online, having no local Chase branch.

When's the deadline again? The 15th or the 31st?

The current expiration of the offer is displayed on the face of the coupon - 31st.

Does anyone know the minimum direct deposit amount that is allowed. Through my company's payroll, I can send my paycheck to up to three different banks and can specify the amount for each. If I can send only a $1 to the chase account and still qualifies as a direct deposit, that would be great. Then I won't have to worry about making those 5 transactions each month.
