My first direct deposit just went into the account on 1/29 so it is to early to be concerned about the miles for the account not posting yet.

In case you are wondering, after my new account is set up and I have online access, I close the one from the previous year.
Thanks for the reply, I am happy to see it works ad I will be there in the morning for checking account #2

So like if I already have my main checking account with chase that's a couple years old, and I have checks for it, and want to keep it going into the future, its no problem then to open a "second" account for the miles or whatever and then after the 6mo period close that and my main account is unaffected ?

Just wanted to make sure there was no problems with more than 1 chase personal account at a time.
Yep, this is exactly what my wife & I did. Actually, we have a joint account that has a decent balance, so both of us don't have to do anything special to prevent the monthly maintenance fees on each of our Continental checking accounts

Personal Checking Bonus Posts

The personal points posted less than 14 days after my receipt of the debit card and fulfilling the requirements. My wife's account has received debit points but no bonus points after 20 days. She sent off an email and received a letter stating it takes 4-6 weeks to post.

Has there been anyway to fund the business acct with a credit card? It cant be opened online and the two branches I went in to would only accept Visas with a $100 max.

Quick update for any doubters out there. The 10,000 miles for the checking posted today. So now I am just waiting on the 2,500 from Continental which I expect to be on my next statement.

I will try one more time.

If you have already opened an individual account and received the 25K miles can you sill avail the promotion that says you will receive 2.5K bonus miles for each authorized user - upto 3 additional users.

It would be make this great deal even better and those who signed up during mileathon will get even more bonus miles.

Has anybody tried this?

37 CENTS

I got my monthly statement a couple of days ago and my five purchases at miscellaneous gas stations for the month was 37 cents... no $6 fee. I did my wife as well and her statement came out to 42 cents... OMG it took me 5 more cents on her card for the month!

onepass #?

when i applied (all online), i put the coupon in etc, and funded the account using a cc. at no point did it ask me for my onepass number!

i recieved the co debit card and have used it 2x so far, but i've not gotten any info regarding the promo nor about what onepass number its going into. i phoned chase, the clerk forwarded my call to onepass cust svc, the lady there said that when she opened her ac they put her miles into a different onepass ac and she had to combine the mileage, which didn't incur any penalty..

have others had a chance to input their onepass # into the online checking account registration?

when did you get your onepass #?

I emailed them about putting my onepass number in before signing up.

I guess you cannot trust everything you read from Continental. The points were in my wife's account this morning. A total of 22,500. She had opened the account online using the coupon. I emailed Chase with her onepass number and the CSR on the other end of the ethernet took care of everything.

Have you checked your Chase account online? A few days after opening the account online, my OnePass number automatically appeared online.

Just fill it out with your SSN, check Sole-Prop on the form, and return to Chase. W9 is to determine if backup withholding is required and a 1099 at the year end is necessary. I thought they would have asked all of those questions while you open the bank account.
