Here is thread for the new offers for the checking account in 2009.
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/miles...g-account.html
The annual fee of $85 on the credit card is viewable when you click on the apply button and half way down the application page shows the interest amounts and fees.
Has anyone churn over this cc and received all the miles? I had this card and cancelled it back in Mar 2008 and I want to apply again.

Here's the link for the checking:

It seems now that one would actually have to get the preferred debit card for $65 annual fee to qualify for the full 21k as opposed to the last year's promotion.

It does say that the PRIMARY card holder gets the bag fee waived. But I assume that anyone that has a card (other cardholders on the someones account) will get the bag fees waived by showing the card upon check in.

The banner right above the coupon code says: Get up to 21000 bonus miles when you open a Chase checking account, set up direct deposit and user your Chase Continental Airlines PREFERRED Banking Card. Also if you click on the Chase Continental Airlines Debit Card it goes to a page which says that you'll get only 2500 bonus miles after first purchase.

I don't mind $85 for 25-30K, but T&C does indicate first timers only.
I believe Chase cards dob't "churn" well anymore....
and I have had this card before (more than a year ago).
Anybody recently get the miles who had the card before?

I had a chase/contiental card earlier and had canceled it 1 year after I got the miles. Applied again and activated the card. Called to verify - they said I will not get ANY bonus miles....
