$85 annual fee

The disclosure link now works. All three offers, 25, 35 & 40K have an annual fee of $85. No mention of a first year waiver.

I just checked and the only option now seems to be 25,000 miles

It has nothing to do with the prevalence of locations. It is all about their (lack of) customer service. I know the circumstances surrounding gbryan84's vow and I am wholly on his side. I don't like my money being held hostage either.

There is a waiver on a print invite that's currently in market. 25K bonus, but doesn't have the bag fee waiver. I'll take the checked bag fee for the first year annual fee waiver.

There won't be a checked bag fee as long as you have a CO/Chase branded card. It doesn't matter if you paid the annual fee or had it waived.

Oh that's good. Thanks. I wasn't sure if you had to pay the fee and then if you had the right card, they reimbursed it. Hadn't read too far into it as a) I rarely check luggage b) even if I do both ways on my upcoming EWR-HNL, $30 is still better than $85.

I recently applied for that 40k miles version of the card. The $85 fee posted even before I activated the card. But for 40k miles it's worth it.

Also, until very recently the main Continental site had 20k sign up + 5k for authorized user for the Continental Business Card. But now there's no authorized user option. Does anyone somehow have the page for 25k Business Card stored in their browser history? I need a URL or just a promocode or offer code number.

What link did you use? I didn't see the 40,000 mile offer in the original link.

I used to live in NYC and now live in Hoboken and do not use Chase. I actually use BofA and Schwab. I find BofA just as convenient as Chase in NYC and Schwab reimburses for all ATM fees and provides interest on our checking account - both huge pluses.

Where is the 40,000 mile promo by the way??? I only see the 25,000 plus 5,000 for first purchase but no 10,000 anniversary bonus... is it gone?

I posted a link, but it is waiting moderator's approval. Just google the following search string: promoCode=TB6599 You'll find it.
