Will I be jailed by this new kind of airline computer technology?
Aviation Week and Space Technology reports:
Estimates from the Association of European Airlines indicate that no-shows cost airlines an average of 1.6% of their total revenue. The problem in the U.S. is more severe.
The Integrity system looks for bookings that are not ticketed, duplicates, fake names, redundant or incomplete itineraries and other aspects. It recommends a course of action and follow-up to clarify issues. Finnair began using the system ...

But lets also remember that we are talking about France. I have stopped trying to figure them out. To be safe, why not have 'your friend' (yes, Mr. Freud) contact the French Utility and arrange to pay the bill. This way the issue becomes moot. It is after all the ethical and moral thing to do irrespective ot whether or not they would not send the final bill 'on time.'
Be blessed!
