Maybe I can clear some things up on th e30 day wait list. I have been in contact with Goldrewards for a few weeks now regarding my 6000 miles missing from CO. While speaking with them they had informed me that they may have went to UAL since I started auto withdrawl into UAL, they did not so still searching. Anyway, what I think they are referring too is 30 days between airline partners. For instance, if I transfer miles into my CO account, I need to wait 30 days to make a transfer into my UAL account. Otherwise, they said, all your points could go into UAL by the time they are processed through.
In fact this is true. When I transferred 500 miles into my AA account and then a week later 500 miles into my wifes account, all 1000 miles went to my wifes account.

Just to touch base:

I emailed Valuemags on 12/29 and 1/4, with no response to either, thus far.

Only voicemail by telephone...

Anyone had recent email/contact from these folks?

Not in a couple of weeks. But back around Christmas, they responded promptly and seemed pretty good. Many others on this board were saying the same thing.

But I realize now that it's Goldpoints who runs the show. The 450 miles per dollar promotion belongs to them and they're the ones responsible for posting the points.

Pardon me if this has already been discussed.

If I opened my Radisson Guest rewards account, then requested a Gold Points # through Radisson page, then made a purchase through Gold Points that accumulated 100,000 Gold Points...

Will those 100,000 Gold Points show up on my Radisson Guest Rewards account balance page (top right) & Gold Points balance page?

Theoretically, if it does show up on Radisson page, those 100,000 Radisson Rewards/Gold Points are worth 25,000 American miles... All I have to do is call Gold Points CS (800-508-9000). That is the number listed on the Radisson page.

Is this entire scenario correct?

Thanks cactuspete.

One more question:

if you were a general goldpoints member that did not sign up through Radisson, it looks like 5,000 Goldpoints are worth only 500 FF miles and only on USairways, Delta & NW... See:

http://www.goldpoints.com/common/Dis...s&group=redeem

However, those 5,000 Goldpoints appear to be worth 1,250 FF miles on many other airlines IF you are a Radisson Rewards member that signed up through Radisson, then added Goldpoints. That is due to the more lucrative 4:1 redemption ratio that is noted.. See:

http://www.radisson.com/RAD/Gold_Rew...?P0=&P1=redeem

Is this scenario correct????

Does the Goldpoints service center know you get a better redemption level for miles if you are flagged as a Radisson member?

I have to ask because both the Goldpoints site and Radisson site list the same 800 number for redemptions....

Chix--The customer service center at Gold Points knows you are a Radisson member and entitled to the 4:1 exchange by your account number. Outstanding program but it can be confusing.

It does fly to Sydney but not more often than once per year on its RTW charter trip. I have no idea if you can get onto this flight with award miles though...
