wait, wait, wait... dumping your miles in AA for STATUS? are you telling me i can put these into my AAdvantage account and get EXP? i will take that over a flight on the Concorde any day. but somehow i doubt that that is the case... i wish. i'm just a lowly Plat.</font>
I'm going for lifetime Platinum which is 2 million miles from any source. This includes credit cards, partner bonuses, etc. You get lifetime Gold at 1 million. Sorry, you cannot use these miles to get EXP, lifetime or otherwise.

I ordered $171 on the 27th of Dec. and they have not posted. It was saying 150 points for me, but I called GP and they said they would honor the 450 point 10-4-1 promotion.

Someone above made a good point regarding VM delivering 150 is fulfilling their promise, and your credit card company was not involved with GP. I'll wait and see what happens. This a reason to have a good credit card. I've always gotten good service from AMEX Delta. (Redeeming points for actual trips is another matter).

BTW, there is an old saying--Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered.

I'm still waiting for points from Nov. I've faxed, called and emailed and still nothing. I also have several orders from Dec that haven't shown up including valuemags from 12/20. I'm owed around 50,000 points. Normally I wouldn't be so anxious but I need the miles for an award. Frustrating.

I ordered several times that amount prior to 12/22 and mine haven't posted either. I assume nothing will happen before 30 days.

81,000 Aadvantage miles just posted!!!!

I bought the mags when this thread started and kept all orders under $200 to avoid any unwanted attention.

Time to go on vacation!!

I order ~$500 on mags in mid Dec, no points. I ordered one more magazine recently -- and the order posted twice for some reason (and I was charged twice, argh!) -- and the points for THAT order have already posted (w/in 3 days of the order). 150 points per dollar, as I expected.

I'm getting a little tired of Valuemags, personally. I know they are swamped but they've made mistake upon mistake on my orders.

Oops! Although a ton of miles already posted to AA, Goldpoints just locked up the rest for 30 days. Guess we just have to wait now...

Ordered on the 26 or 27th (just after the downgrade to 150). 150 points per buck posted. Faxed receipt to GP - per their instructions confirming they would honor the 450 points per buck - as was stated in my previous post.

Account points were just bumped up 3X to the 450 mark - just as they said they would do.

Kudos to GPs!

fireflyreaction: I transferred 90% of my goldpoints to AA on 26 December - they posted to AA 2 days ago. Today I called up goldpoints to move the remaining points to Delta and they told me that I have to wait 30 days from the date of the inital purchase to do it.

Looks like I just got lucky - maybe I was the first. Hope your points post soon!

Are you saying the valumag points posted but you just have to wait 30 days to transfer them? It's great to hear they at least posted. So now it's kind of like Goldpoints is holding them in escrow in case you return the mags. I wonder if some of mine will be showing up too.
