I have a feeling that rather than sort through a technical issue, it was easier for them to point to the terms that state there is a maximum, even if the maximum is not actually enforced.

I've been using the same picture for all tweets requiring a picture apart from the bus ones. One could argue that the blue sky is more pleasant than my photo...

I had to wait an hour after each of my posts even though the email didn't state that. After waiting an hour, the points posted after future posts. My initial three RT's only gave 100 points once. This was last night and this morning. Wife and I both had the same experience but all the points eventually showed up after spreading the RT's out.
