I still cannot get points from instagram. Any idea what's wrong? How do I know it is linked?

Your account must be public and linked to chirpify. Check the settings on the original sign up page.

when i tried to signed up using instagram.... got error when I keyed in my MR #. perhaps becuase i ahve sign up using twitter?

I signed up both with no problems but I've only gotten points on my Instagram re-posts but not my re-tweets.

It's 100 points maximum, so if you do two tweets, you won't get anything from Instagram.

IIRC instagram needs an email address not your twitter id or whatever as well as your MR number. As others mentioned, make sure your settings are public. In instagram settings, look for the button next to PRIVATE & make sure it is off.

For those who are new to this, or those who have not linked all 3 social media accounts, now os thw time. 500 points per account you link.

In other news, we missed a hashtag over the weekend. No longer any good. My apologies for not checking.

Thought it was just me.

Then I tried logging into my Marriott account using my MR number and it was invalid there too.

But I was able to log into Marriott using my email though.

If you are referring to #StayDC #MRPoints, I did try it, and got a DM saying I'd got points, but I never received the points. #StayDC did operate in 2015 so I assumed it was an error on their behalf, and not intended to earn points. It did seem too soon after the last promo. I apologise for not pointing this out.

*update* OK, I see from Twitter that @MarriottRewards did reply to someone saying the promo did run from 4th Nov to 6th Nov. I will point out to them it wasn't working. Maybe they'll redo it.
