why would an economy flight not work for purposes of flying on tk to contine the status match?

Meanwhile I already asked for a status challenge from AA Plat to UA Gold. Just booked a UA ticket to fly at least 12,5K miles. I think this is the best way to get Star Alliance Gold status as soon as possible.

I am currently 1K with UA, looking to do a status match with DL. Any advice or recommendations? I've been 1K with UA for 7 years but living in Atlanta makes it hard...

Latest "Deny" reports for TK include status match requests from other *A members and one from Oman Air.
Turkish were always declaring that they do not match those.

But I got stuck on a job and never used them , but the future 2017 looks bright so I need to match some of these for the next year ,

Any ideas ? All I really care about is the extra baggage , maybe priority boarding ,
I am normally in the cheap seats so I will not get upgraded to business anyway,

on a normal year I fly International 4-5 times a year , this year was just not normal !
So I have nothing on these cards if they want "screen shots" of 2016 activity

EP with AA till Feb 2018. Should I status match with AS now or wait until my EP status with AA expires? Do airlines agree to status match at the end of status period with another airline?

I've had the Alaska match before, and I assume that's once per lifetime? (Correct me if I'm wrong!). I've also had Turkish and Air Berlin via matches.

I don't think the first tier of any hotel program is worth the bother to match. It really doesn't get you much.

My MileagePlus Gold status will expire on January 31st, 2017.

As there are low chances my future flights will include UA flights, does anyone have any suggestion which airlines will status match me?

You may ask for quite easy challenge on TK, or try match to COPA (not sure if it works).

I'm currently AA Plat & AlItalia 'Freccia Alata Club'.

I will loose both at the end of the year.

Is there any status match I could do into any of the airlines in OW to retain my status?

I know LAN is matching status of AA but I haven't done any flights with them last year.

I do have 2 upcoming flights first half of 2017 enough to reach AA Gold or probably rather BA Bronze after the changes to AA's program.

A status match to BA would be great but I don't think BA ever matches or even offers a challenge according to what I find online.
Buying back AA status is an option but quite expensive...

am flying to India frequently in 2017. Hate AF angled flat and hate KLM entirely.
am 1mm with United and Gold forever, so can't be matched to a higher status there.

I have WestJet Gold, because I'm cheap and only fly out of Canada. Any chance I can status match to a more well known airline?

Depends where in the USA / India you need to get to but try VS. They only fly to DEL connect in LHR. Flying Club might bump you up to Silver FWIW but then it'll be easy to get gold from there. Could also get the US credit card etc...
