If you find out let me know. I tried 3 or 4 different agents and clearly they didn't seem interested in my business. Instead I did a 1K challenge with UA and have spent quite a bit with them. (I still did 160K MQM on Delta this year.)

What would CX Silver match to on Alaska Airlines? And CX Gold?

If you do the 1K match/challenge, you ought to be able to get AA to match/challenge you to EXP (even if you don't complete the 1K). AA was still doing so this month.

I signed up for the Virgin America match , its only to Silver but if Delta does end up buying them maybe I will get Delta Silver thrown in :)

From what I know, AA does not typically match to EXP level. They did for a period for UA Elites, but not for DL or other carriers.

I have 25,000+ miles planned for the next three month on UA. However, I don't have status on any other airlines (I'm a premier on UA). is there anyway to get UA fast track me to platinum?

Looks like it was a success and it only took about a week. Oddly, they were okay with just a screenshot of his DL account but when he requested the same comp for his wife (also a DL Silver), they wanted a copy of her card to go along with the screenshot.

In December, they started matching DL Diamond to AA EXP. They get status until March '13 and need to fly 25,000 EQM without bonuses to requalify and keep it for all of '13.

I have DL Gold until the end of Feb. What are my options in terms of getting a status match with other airlines? (Believe it or not, I have read a lot of the recent posts but I'm unsure what's in effect and what is out of date.)

The only straight match, I believe, is TK. You will get two years of Star Alliance Gold from the match. Make sure you mention that DL Gold is a Sky Team Elite Plus.

AS may or may not grant you a match, since DL is AS partner.

In addition, Both AA and UA have challenges. And US has a straight buy program.
