How long does it take for United to link your MP account to your credit account? I got the card recently (end of January) and it still shows that I do not have a linked card.

I am just concerned about if there was some sort of typographical error in entering my account info - don't want someone else to get my points!

My son wanted to appy for the explorer card. He did not have a United Miles Plus account, so he had to get a MP# and username and password. I then tried all the tricks to get the 60,000 mi. offer to pop and it just wouldn't.

As a last resort I transferred 1000 Ultimate Rewards from my Saphire Card account to his new MP#. That gave him 1,000 United miles instantly.

Now, when he logged in to his account the 60,000 mi offer was waiting for him.

Both my husband and I just got our cards 2 weeks ago and made one charge. The 50,000 united points showed up in each of our account yesterday, way before the due date.

Finally got around for going for the 60k, instantly approved (last Chase CC was CO card last March). Surprised I haven't received an email yet though. Did other people get welcome emails fairly soon after?

YES!! Called customer service to make sure of the dates. We just got the cards less than 2 weeks ago. My first billing cycle is Feb. 6 to Mar.6. The first due date will be April 3. My points show 50,000 + 20(my first charge) reason is "First use Miles". My husbands points posted just as quick for his card.

Think you are supposed to receive club passes when you pay your annual fee.

You're supposed to get the first ones 6-8 weeks after approval.

Should I apply for this card and Chase Ink at the same time? Do you think they'll care? The trick is to use two browsers at once right?

why?

if the statement clsoed on Feb 12, i would say around the 15th?

whats the rush? Its not like this is a hidden offer where some are getting the points and some are not.

My Statement closed Feb 8th , points are dated Feb 8th @ united but i think i did not see it till Feb 10th.

But since I landed on the page, I took a screen-shot and proceeded with the application. Of course I got "under review - we will let you know by mail in 10 days" - lets see what happens...

And got a call today from Chase. I am holding a dormant Sapphire card (since I switched over to the "Sapphire Preferred" a few months ago) - they approved me for the United card and closed out the dormant card. I also hold a Continental card (which I got April 2011), but they confirmed I will get 50K UA miles on first purchase. So looks like it worked for me...

Since I currently have the CO card and just got Sapphire Preferred in Dec, I'm kind of on the fence whether this 50k is worth another hit to my credit report…
