Is there any data yet on whether prior holders of a CO or UA biz card are eligible for a new bonus. The 7/11 date didn't seem to apply to the biz card.

I'm applying tomorrow. I called today and they would not do 50k without an invitation code. I'll try regular applications in the morning and see if they can push the 50k biz app. If not, I'll do the standard 25k online.

What happens if someone uses my Invitation code to apply for the card? like goto the website type in the invitation code, it pre-fills the form with MY info but the person just changes the info and hits apply?
will they still get the 60K points? or will chase know their account balance in united is 0 and default it back to the 40K points? |

I got the reply that they are reviewing my app. Is there any numbers I can call to find out if i'm approved or not more quickly? I called the automated numbers and I only get a response saying "your app is under review"

Alrighty, i applied just now. My previous Chase application was 12/2/11 for Chase Sapphire. Waiting game begins (although i will probably call later today anyway to see if they need more info). I have 762 on both CreditSesame and CreditKarma, and 886 Vantage on CreditKarma. Previous Experian inquiries (which this should hit) are:
2/6 - Chase 2/28 - Amex 3/7 - Amex 3/29 - Cap1 7/14 - Chase 10/12 - Citi 12/2 - Chase 12/4 - Citi 12/4 - Citi All other inquiries (7 of them, 5 of which are for credit cards - Citi, Amex, Chase) are more than a year old. This messes up my planned churn of 6 cards total, but for $1 spent on United (which we recently found out can get us places for diving that AA cannot), it seems worth it to me. Having to wait until after 2/4 to apply for 2 more citi, then also doing 2 amex and the US AIr barclays card. |
So can anyone here confirm if I still get the same bonus if I did not get the signature card?

Reading the terms says nothing about getting a lower bonus if you qualify for the platinum. So I would guess yes.
(pgary) lol I know I was just wondering if someone here got the platinum and if they still got the points. I can move credit over from my Marriott Signature but that would not be enough to keep both signature. I rather keep Marriott signature and not have that lowered. But yea that was why I asked. Because if I still should get the bonus I won't go through moving limits from different cards. |
Data point
Daughter approved instantly and wife approved after 24 hours (called the status/reconsideration line and they said "approved"). Wife received 3 Chase cards last year: CO onepass + MC (50K) in Jan., UA MP select visa in Apr. (50K) and Marriott Prem. Sign. Visa in Oct. (70K).
I will apply after my Ink Bold (50K UR) has 'seasoned' for 60 days. |

I did apply already (yesterday), but when i log into my United account today, the 60k offer image is there, but i click on it and it says just the 40k offer. Seems to have expired on me.

I got the Sapphire Preferred in Nov. Was denied a Freedom Card in Dec. due to to many recent Chase apps. I probably could have got that one reconsidered but took the denial as a sign to lay off Chase a little since I hoped this United deal would show up. I applied for the United yesterday, not instant approval but automatically approved within 24 hours w/o intervention. Credit limit was VERY generous too.
