I'm in the same boat, pretty pleased with this update as I just got the Sapphire Preffered from Chase - focusing our spend on that as well as the Citi AA cards, not mention we both just did the US Airways 40k.

Looks like I can shut it down for the next few months which is much needed!

unless its misdirection....they may have not liked the early leaked details to credit hounds....so tell everyone its coming the first of the year, and then put it out on Nov 1 for the limited 3 day offering.

I will be jumping on the southwest cards next, so I hope it really does happen 2012, but I may wait until early Nov. to make sure.

The 60K offer is currently only available to elites. Rumor is the offer will be opened to everyone in the future, for a limited time. If you have the offer, there's no reason not to apply for it now.

It's unfortunate that they didn't include CO Elites for the 60K offer. I only get the 40K offer as Plat on CO.

The easy fix for that is to link your CO & UA accounts; wait for status to sync (7-10 days); and then log into your UA account. QED

In which case your status has synced & you see the 60K offer on logging into your UA account, I assume.

If it's any consolation, I see only the 40K (30K, really) OP Plus offer on logging into my CO account.
