That said, I have never liked the term "travel hacking"; I am not sure why. I hope it doesn't catch on.

I'm not talking about anything illegal, just methods of getting miles that we wouldnt see advertised by an airline, bank, credit card company, ect..
In an attempt to get this thread on the track I originally wanted it to be on, here is the updated #1 post:

I've been following the miles game for a few years, mostly lurking. I've felt that the number of people playing the miles game has heightened in the past year with all the action around the mint and the huge CC bonuses being offered. Curious to know what others think.
