Hotel Upgrades During Conferences
I travel for work about 3-4 times a year for work. The hotel rooms are always booked through the conference. If I were to obtain a Platinum/Diamond status for hotels, what are the chances of getting an upgrade even though the room was booked through my conference?
Thanks

What do you mean?
Is the room booked in your name with your status attached?
If so I would guess your chances are the same as if the the room wasn't booked through the conference.

Depending on how booked the hotel is, your chances are as good as if you booked the room yourself. At least that's been my experience, even when I give my loyalty number at check-in. I suggest you call in advance and put your number on your reservation after the room is booked.
