When you have to get from Buenos Aires to Barcelona and you choose this itinerary:
EZE-GRU-YYZ-ORD-PHX-SFO-YVR-NRT-BKK-(HKT)-BKK-FRA-LHR-BCN

1. You know you're in it when you are flying on an award ticket (20k) from BKK-GUM(today) and you get excited when your AVOD malfunctions. Ended up with 11k comp. miles for a total cost of only 9k RT.

2. You know you're in it when you're the only guy on the entire flight to request a comp for the malfunctioning AVOD. Everyone else just "took" it.

1. When a 5,000 bonus miles compensation is not enough for a Power Port deactivation because you love your AVOD so much

Superb. This is the one! I should have thought of that so I would not have had to wait the six days. Ahh, the things I learn on FlyerTalk.

You read the news about Egypt, hear about all the evacuation points, and want to know how you can get those points, too.

-One of your staff, who is a novice traveler, is about to hit the road and you ask what hotel she is staying in. She answers the DoubleTree in XXX. Your mind races through FT threads and within seconds you get her to sign up for the HHonors program, register her for the "More Nights, More Points" Promo, and the Fast Track to Gold offer. You already know the rate for the particular hotel and can give said employee a ballpark fiqure of how many points she will earn and point out to her that she will have Gold Status when she returns. AND then you walk away feeling a rush that normally comes with a big score of points, but YOU get the rush by living vicariously through your staff. (Just Happened)

Maybe.

But there are a lot worse behaviors to be engaged in!

I work for Ford and this morning I was trying to enter the code for our Cargo Van into the system and it was coming back with an error. Turns out my warped mind was changing "CGV" to "CVG" because I was so used to the latter

I'd pay alot of money for that!

It rly isn't that complicated.

I've only had one bump. I prefer to get to where I need to get to.
-You just don't understand people who fly non-stop.
When you need to get to a night club in LAX before last call and you get off of work at 5pm and you want the 762 J seats, AA 185 is your only option. And I loved it!
-You think "direct flights" (one stop, same flight number) are proof positive that airlines gouge customers.
Agreed!
-Your spouse thinks you are certifiably insane, but expects to share in your upgrades.
So long as they see the benefit, it's all good.

Girl I am "dating: You're insane with your flying!
Me: I won't complain about you buying 4 pairs of shoes a week and you can't complain about my flying.
Girl: Deal!
