You know you're "in it" when...
more? :)MM |
....when listening to the news, and they're talking about the Pope visiting 9 countries in 12 days, you try to figure out how many miles he will earn...
|
or that story I heard on some news program the other night about the woman who had to fly to south korea to try to find her kid, who was kidnapped by her south korean ex hubby.
My wife was like... oh dear how sad! I am glad she got him back... I was like... hmmm, did she earn miles on the flight to Asia? I got a dirty look:D |
When you actually start to wonder if used gift cards can be used as a building material for that new addition to the house.....

When you pull out your credit cards from a baggie instead of a wallet?
When your credit cards come with little sticky notes on them? |
When you wake up in the middle of the night thinking about your Awardwallet account. :p

...When the first thing you do In the morning is check FT/blogs/AW balances
...When you walk into a gas station w/ 18 CC and tell the cashier you need to make a transaction on each one. |
-when you check your frequent flyer accounts more than once a day
-when you are mortified at the thought of eating at a non-Idine/Rewards Network Restaurant -when you refuse to buy something in-store because you can earn miles for buying it online through a mileage portal [for the same price, and free shipping, of course] -when you refuse to buy a specific item online because you know you can buy a similar product online that will earn miles through a mileage portal -when you refuse to buy ANYTHING from Amazon.com, no matter how good the deal, because they don't partner with any mileage portal -when you purchase flowers online, and do so because getting a big mileage bonus is the primary motivator for buying flowers online -when you have to lie to a seatmate about your Mileage Run -when you're using inflight wifi to plan an MR, plan an award ticket, buy something through an online mileage portal, or other activity that would result in earning miles while on inflight wifi -when asked for what you want for a Christmas gift, you tell them to either buy you miles, or better yet, have them give you cash so you can buy miles and use your own mileage earning credit card -when you stay up until 2am central time so you can see your AA mileage account update |
-When you purposely picked all your classes to be on Tuesdays-Thursdays only, Mondays- Wednesdays are off to do MRs since those are considered "cheap" days to do MRs. (me :D)
-When the first thing you go to is the "MR forum". -When all your bookmarks are travel related sites (kayak, ITA matrix, mileage calc). -When you plan to give an "Informative Speech" about MRs without any notes for Public Speaking class. -When you read threads like this to see if anyone forgot to mentioned something else. ;)^ |

you search every cc offer that comes to your mailbox for promos and discard immediately if none.

When you lovingly say to your daughter "What would you do without me?" and her instant response is "Why, Daddy, I would have to fly in coach". True story.:p
