Didn't mileageplus used to be listed on the topguest home page?

I never saw it there, only on its own special page.

I'm glad I skimmed the updates here to see that Hampton Inn is out. I only ever got one posting of points from Hilton, but it was for 1100 points for all of my checkins for the previous month or two. Based on that, I've continued checking into Hampton Inn, assuming that would happen again. Now that I've switched to Doubletree, I'm getting the points right away.

Thanks Tiki. Looks like I have a long way to go.

Still not had points for about a month for IHG. However, the points are posting to topguest with no problems. They just do not seem to be posting over

I had problems with points not moving over recently. I went to "Programs" on the Topguest website, and just clicked "Edit" next to my member number, and Save. Basically just re-inputting my number, but I didn't have to type it since it was already there. The whole batch of points posted the next day, plus I got another 50 point sign-on bonus.

I'm guessing if they changed the terms or something else about the program in the middle there, it lost the sync with your number for some reason.

I had to do this with both IGH and HH, even though they had both been working previously.

Looking at my TopGuest account online, it says:

Get 50 Hilton HHonors Bonus Points for sharing your location or a photo at Hampton® or DoubleTree by Hilton™ hotels
So, Hampton Inn should be earning HH points. I checked in at two different Hamptons this past weekend, and TG indicates I earned 50 points for each (although I haven't seen them post in my HH account yet).

They should give you points if Topguest's site was right, but the general consensus over the past few pages is that the info on Topguest's site is outdated, and Hampton Inn no longer earns points. You still get the emails saying you're getting points, but they never show up. This has been confirmed from Topguest:

Everyone's experience matches up on this one; I and many others have checked into many Hampton Inns since 3/26 without getting any points, but checking in at a Doubletree still gives you points.

Thanks will do this and see if it works :)

Take it from experience  2 check ins per day for 5 working days and sometimes 6 days a week is under the radar. Anything above 2 checkins and constant checkins every day will get your shut down. You need to have breaks in between.

nomii May 23, 2012 4:18 pm

Just making sure - lets say I stay "under the radar" but they still flag me and shut down my TopGuest.

Do I lose my Hilton/United points, or worse, are those accounts of mine shut down too? What happens to already accrued TopGuest points?

I have checked into the same DT and Holiday Inn every day since January 2011, I alwasy allow for at least 1 hour between FS checkins,
bonus since Jan 2012 after i added MP I also get 50 MP miles since the DT i checkin is an airport hotel, that gives me credit for united.
My wife also ches in to these exact same properties every day at least 1 hour apart.

BrycePGH May 23, 2012 5:49 pm

monkey99: thanks for the tip, I will adjust my hotel check ins accordingly. I have 2 airport checkins a week for United (same airport because the destination is not supported).

Is anyone pushing airport check ins over 2/week?
