I am seeing lots of check ins on 2 May for Crowne Plaza, Doubletree and Hampton. I only did one check in that day, I never do more than 1 per day. Nothing has hit Hilton since 31 March.

United miles

Anyone have their united miles posted with check-in in the last two days? Actually, I have not even received any emails on these as opposed to what they used to be.

Hmm, just got one email for my check-in last night...I spoke too soon :)

As a followup, I'm getting HHonors points actually posting to my HHonors account (not just the emails from TopGuest) for DoubleTree but not Hampton for sure. I check into Hampton almost every day and last night I happened to be near a Doubletree and checked in there. That one transferred to my HHonors account right away. I'm leaning toward saying that the TopGuest agent I've been emailing with just doesn't know that the Hampton partnership is no longer really working. The T&C say it's expired, but the emails are still coming strong. It's just that no points actually post to HHonors.

I get my UA miles post just about every day to my miles account, using FS. No problems at all.

Me too, not having any problems with miles posting onto my account. Sometimes Hilton and United post in chunks, but they still get posted. Longest I've had to wait was maybe 5 days for a posting.

Last follow-up on the Hampton/TopGuest question: It is as we had suspected. I received word from TopGuest that the Hampton/TopGuest partnership did, in fact, expire on 3/26. Only Doubletree checkins are translating to HHonors points at this time. The emails are still coming to me when I do Hampton checkins, but there will be no accompanying HHonors points.

DoubleTree is not working for me either. It stopped at the same time Hampton Inn did. I tried DoubleTree yesterday and have actually tried a handful of times in the past month and just as Hampton Inn, they aren't posting to my account either. Best Western and Priority Club continue to post daily without any issues.

Interesting.
Hampton still shows on the Topguest site as of today:
http://www.topguest.com/hilton

EDITED to add: also, if you watch the TopGuest home page for a few seconds, the crawler will show regular awards of 50 points for Hampton checkins, at least it does so today, May 8.
Further EDIT: And both my significant other and I have been awarded points for Hampton checkins throughout April. She most recently got points for Hampton checkins she did on May 1 and May 2.

Also interesting is that my significant other is seeing DTree checkins post to her HHonors account daily, and I have not seen any post since mid-April.

And a week later, these have not arrived in my PCR account. :(

United and PC points have been posting for me still with no problem. There has generally been a few day lag but all have posted in time.

What are some of your goals for the program?

I started with it to collect miles for the GS hits. Where I'm at now I've gotten enough points in two programs and am close on a third. It has been a daily grind, but I'm getting real tired of it. Four months straight and I'm burning out. I need a better goal in mind now that my accounts have enough for a hypothetical GS hit (if there is a GS). Of course I'll keep checking in when I'm at the airport because well...miles is miles.

So what other goals are you guys using to stay motivated?

I have to admit that I'm a Grand Slam newbie. I'm looking forward to playing GS for the first time this year (if available). So....in preparing for GS, how many points should I think about accumulating in hotel accounts? I haven't burned out yet on TopGuest, but it would be great to have a goal in mind.

These are the requirements from last year for each hotel chain. Hyatt is no longer a partner. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/2011-...er-thread.html If they change from that, we won't know about it until the last week of Aug roughly.
