did anybody get OGG working?

gary_nj Dec 27, 2007 7:28 am

For folks originating in New York (and who are *A fans), United
ps service appears to be available "on the way" to YYZ.

so no one could work out a stopover yet? that's the last thing I'm looking for. would be awesome not just rushing through but actually being able to visit e.g. SCL & EZE

Looks like the price goes up by about 200 bucks if flying out of JFK tho..

I've chosen not to get this even though I was able to get one to come up from lga about 615.

But wanted to remind those with time in EZE over labor day weekend we're having cow do down there.

I was able to get an overnight in EZE on mine of 2pm or so to 11am.

littl_flier, did you try the .com.au site too?
This is a great adjunct to the JFK fare from a while ago; will you get a C ticket back to MEL with LAN? ;)

mtparadis, where did HNL fit in?

BiziBB, I just used the US site and it worked fine.

Actually, I'll be studying in Montreal in Fall 08 so I'll make a quick jump down the ORD but getting back to YUL from MEX will be the interesting thing. Could be a little more difficult for some of the other Aussie FTers though. ;) It's not quite as good as SFO-AKL but almost..... Shame I couldn't manage more than 1 night in EZE though, the fare blew out to $8k.

Damn, if only I knew HNL was in there.

Try ORD-HNL/OGG-YYZ day 1, YYZ-GRU/SCL/EZE day 2, then on to MEX day 3. Works fine for me. HNL puts you on AA, OGG UA.

Should be about $490.

MCI777 Dec 27, 2007 7:58 am

Just picked up my second on xp for $522...ORD-ANC-LAX-YYZ-SCL-EZE-GRU-MEX. I got a good mix of UA, AS, AA, AC, BA and AM.

It will be fun to see where this goes. I'd like to refund my first one but I will definitely wait awhile before I call. ;).

If I can't, I will be doing a lot of flying in August of 2008.

Cool. I see it now. The dates I was trying didnt have availability I suppose. Were you able to get a United marketed and operated flight for the return from OGG or was it only AC codeshare that you saw?

(im not sure if I get the 1K 100% RDM bonus on AC codeshares on UA metal)

How about this one:
lga-ord-hnl-ogg-yvr-yyz-gru-mex
for 716.63

Problem is, as of right now ord-ogg is in Y, the rest in C.

ajinlondon Dec 27, 2007 8:07 am

are there any routes that can be used on premium airlines such as the mentioned CX one. Any others?
