I booked on Orbitz and pulled up the rules and it clearly said refundable/changeable, basis CNZ. Orbitz shows some standard disclaimers about potential non-refundability, you have to look up the actual fare rules and the rules clearly say it's a flexible ticket.

OK, I've been working on this for a half hour and have still come up with squat on both ual.com & Expedia. I've plotted in SFO => SYD => AKL => SFO and simply SFO => SYD for multiple dates in August and September. Am I just having a run of bad luck???
