Well I have gone ahead and booked most of my positioning flights (SIN-MAD, don’t ask, it’ll make sense eventually!!)

SIN-MAD is normal, the standard of this forum is probably mention if your repositioning flight were SIN-JNB, WDH-DUB or SIN-SEA.

Well, technically (so far) it’s DRW-SIN-HKG-MAD-FRA// [somewhere in italy]-MAD-HKG-SIN-DRW, there’ll be some more intra-territory legs to add on at the beginning and end as well. I suppose it is a fairly pedestrian routing for me though, and I’ve even avoided the DPS rubber glove treatment

My positioning flight will be a boring BRU-BLQ. Maybe via LHR, if the fare price vs TPs is right.
But I'm just out to DPS tomorrow, and I'm curious to see if it will be easy as CGK or else.

Going to be a very busy June with this flight. Was already going CDG-FRA-EZE-BOG-EZE-FRA-CDG LH J/F, now cramming in BLQ-HEL-CAN-HEL-BLQ AY J also, oh well! Arrive in Paris from Malaysia via TPE in late May (BR J), knock out both of these itineraries, drink at cafes in between then stop in Helsinki again and take LH F HEL-FRA-EWR just in time to spend a bit of time back in NYC before departing again on JL F in July to kick off summer .

By this point it has to be established that this was an intentional promotional fare right? They would have made a statement if it wasn't.

i’m working on the basis that it will be honoured but I also have plenty I can do in Europe if they can it. Personally I think intentional promo fare fits

It was a very exhausting trip for us!!! With flying every 3 days on average.

Not QUITE a RTW with no TPAC segment, from start of May until end of June it will be something like (subject to finalizing a few legs): JFK-HEL-HKG-SIN-JOG-CGK-LBJ-CGK-KUL-TPE-CDG-FRA-EZE-BOG-EZE-FRA-CDG-BLQ-HEL-CAN-HEL-FRA-EWR

Well, being more than a month from the end of the promo, I started to book some positioning flights
I also decided to add an Indonesian BA TPs optimized side trip for the second round, but I think I will wait next month to finalize the booking. There's no hurry, after all, we're still in early December.

Oh, I also started to look around BLQ airport for a night stay, but so far I'm still quite undecided about the available choices of hotels.

The only one I know from CAN is with CX/KA to CGK for a shade under 1000 eur and 360 TPs
Me, since I'm going to HKG instead of CAN, I'll probably do TPE-DPS with CX for around 650/670 eur. If you like MH, it's under 600 from TPE.

I don't know if could be of use to someone ticketed to HKG, but while searching around I found an AY fare back to EU from 1690 eur.
Unfortunately for me, it doesn't work with my dates...
