In the spirit of things....

If youre savvy enough....you can book returning to other airports. [City of Cheesesteaks and possible WS champs for me].

And you can tack on another segment after some afternoon tea to places such as CAI [$584], ARN [$660], DXB [$705], etc... try some fun pairs.

Just come home letting nofee do the routing.

Good post.

I was scared to even try at first, knowing I wouldn't have been able to find it myself. Then I read your post and thought ... well if this idiot can do it, I should too!

And voila .. I found it.

However, not my alliance

Before I try to figure this one out, to the ones who have booked it: will this fare get AA EQM? For me, not much of a MR otherwise.

It is also possible to add an additional segment on BA (connecting in LON).

Have tried AMS, FCO and PAR successfully - others should be available.

Probably not... The way this deal works, you won't get anything over the pond with AA.

Thanks for posting the tips quote, but it looks like I'm pretty high/low on the idiot scale as well. Not yet up to speed on the skills necessary to get this, but would love to expand the knowledge base if someone would PM some hints. Thanks!

Will my tip is my practice.

My practice is to read each and every post in MR even if the deal is not interesting to me so that when something pops up that is interesting I'm ready with cc in hand and enough knowledge to jump right in. YMMV
