Have you looked at UIO and PTY (see the threads in the premium MR forum).
For example, LAX-MIA-UIO-MIA-IAD-LAX out 10/24 return 10/25 is $971 in business/first, 9123 actual miles. Similar available out 11/15 return 11/16 and several days in early December.https://www.google.com/flights/?f=0#...sc=f;a=AA;eo=e

I have been reading the forums for a few months, but this is my first post. First of all, thank you to all of the posters that are so helpful and generous with their expertise and time to other members. As I gain more expertise, I look forward to contributing more actively. I am a current AA Platinum and looking to get to EP, and need approx. 23k more EQM. Any helpful ideas would be greatly appreciated. As I have some flexibility, I would prefer to do a trip to a fun destination and spend a bit of time exploring rather than a "pure" MR.

Departure Airport: BOS (but anywhere in Northeast with a positioning flight)
Miles Needed: 23,000 (or at least knock off a good chunk of this, as I can get some of it with some other routine travel).
Required Spend or Budget: Nothing set in stone, cheap as possible ideally.
Available Travel Dates: Very flexible
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: AA and Code Shares
Restriction: No firm restrictions, would prefer to travel somewhere and spend a few days at least and make a trip out of it.

BOS-DFW-NRT-CGK-NRT-DFW-BOS out 10/27 return 10/29 is $994, 23380 miles. Similar fare available other days, stay longer you like.
Or you can do BOS-LAX-HKG-DFW-BOS, out 10/27 return 10/29 for $741 but only 19490 miles. Other days available, stay longer if you like. You can find a domestic day trip for less than $300 for the remaining miles.

I did do a PTY run earlier to clinch platinum and it was great! UIO would require two, but it may be worth it. I WAS hoping to do it in one long weekend, but I hesitated and let the hold on LPB...The price of course jumped.

Thanks!

FYI anyone looking at UIO best routing is via LAX-IAD-MIA-UIO-MIA-SFO-LAX. The fare rules specifically forbid the A321T to/from JFK which makes LAX-NYC-UIO very hard.

I've been working on this one all morning, so this update may save others some time. Stick with PTY

AA: MR advice from DEN for ~25k EQM

I'm trying to plan appropriately but recently moved from DFW to DEN and had to use United quite a bit.

So any advice on great runs from DEN so that I can keep my EXP would be greatly appreciated.

Multi-trips are possible to make this happen.

Truly appreciate any help.
