You'll be able to cancel penalty free with these fares, but you won't be able to change things without paying the difference between this mistake fare and the normal P fare - which means you're on the hook for an easy five figures.
Ok. So I guess I will book now and try to convince my dad to change his vacation days ! 😀

Whew. I need a shower after that.

My 6 reservations are showing as active on AF. Indeed, when I went to check 15 minutes ago, it showed one still "awaiting payment".
I had changed my mind on that one two hours earlier and thought it was lost. When I clicked thru, it let my buy at the $1,515. price.
Since these are fully refundable and changeable, there wasn't much risk buying these even when the dates and/or equipment are not perfect.

Can still pull up my reservation on AF.us. One thing it's not doing is accepting my Skymiles #. But I'll worry about forcing that in a few weeks if this all goes through.

There is car transfer both ways. At LHR arrival you generally won't have someone escort you through security, though it does happen at other outstations.

Will do so next time. Also doing research about which first class is better b777 or a380 on AF and thinking too long about SF or LAX and studying the NHL schedule (I'm from Europe..) turned out not to be the perfect approach. lol
Well at least I got the 640€ AMS-TYO-AMS QR deal (Y) this year followed by 3 more QR deals :P Also I try to keep in mind it might be a good idea to book some error fares multiple times spread across the year. Helps to get to a high tier too ...

This was a fully flexible fare, so while the deal was still valid you could change your flights on the Air France website to pick other combinations that weren't offered by the booking tool.

Given that the fares have been repriced, there is no scope now to change flights without being hit with a reprice.

(For the avoidance of all doubt: You need to look this up on the Air France or KLM websites; if booked directly from Air France, the Amadeus PNR won't work on any other website)

If you are using a Delta-issued PNR, then that won't work on the Air France website (the airlines, though partners, use different GDSes)
DL PNR works fine on AF site. Just did all my seats.

Hah! So you admit that there is something less than perfect about some forms of AF P!

I had the same issue - was stuck with my FB number (because I booked it while I was logged in on my FB account). 10 minutes with the Diamond line and they were able to swap out my DL SM # no problem. I wouldn't worry about it right now (unless you're flying tomorrow or something), but it should be no problem to swap the number out at any point.

I wouldn't expect AF to honor this fare. It's an order of magnitude less expensive than it should be, so it's obviously a pricing error where someone messed up a decimal place.

I think someone may have confused "Premium Economy" with "La Première".

(Don't Americans speak French? )

Does this mean we'll potentially be seeing 6 more trip reports through 2018?

you're quite likely right, but if you're not, it sure would hurt to not have a horse in the race.

I actually suspect it's two orders of magnitude off, just going by the base fare. lots of fees and taxes on this one.
