keep the fare without penalty for changes. C is flexible, and D is restricted biz which usually comes with a fee for changes.

The fare is exclusively ex-BKK, moving the YYZ-BKK before your BKK-YYZ wouldn't work.

Well I've gone for this in C so I can refund it if/when the regret sets in.

I already got burned by the AZ fare late last year so let's hope this works out better.

Can anyone offer any tips on how to book the refundable fare (Cloud 9 Deluxe) on USD? As far as I can tell Orbitz, Cheapo, Expedia et all only offer you the cheapest fare within each class.

Booked mine at Ethiopian with no problems. You have the choice of restricted or non-restricted (Cloud 9 Deluxe),

Shows Thai Baht, but booked with my USA credit card no problem.

Thank you both. However, I want to pay in USD. If I use the ET website I'll get slugged a foreign transaction fee as well as a poor exchange rate.

Additionally, I don't think you can book the ex-SIN fare on their website.

It can be extremely expensive to fly to Germany (Frankfurt/Munich) some times and it's really good value to get it for 20k points or 10k when they have promotions.

also one big thing for families on SAS

KIDS UNDER 12 pay only 50% points!

Game over. At least on ET website.

Now, let's move on to stage 2.

I can still price it on ET although I haven't tried to process payment.

If booking Deluxe on ET is there any fee for cancelling or is it 100% refundable? The fare rules simply state "Changes/cancellations permitted".

my bad. indeed I am able to price it again.

For a brief moment, I saw 100k thb each way for cloud 9 deluxe.

[EDIT] am seeing xmas and new year inventory disappearing real fast. guess it's not hard with only 24 seats in the cabin.

Any reason not to book this with a 2.5 hour connection in YYZ?
