I was trying to do a open jaw but the website always shows no results ...
Have seen many reports that the multicity search on the QR website is pretty dire. You may need to use a third party for multicity bookings - Expedia is cited as the best of a bad bunch for QR bookings.

can you share sample dates for JFK-AKL-JFK?

After much searching, I've finally booked CAI-DOH-HND (Y) / KUL-DOH-LHR (J) for £575 return. Now to book a Ryanair to Milan and Meridiana to Cairo for positioning!

Sorry. The QR site WAS apparently pricing the OW as RT. I carried it through to the point where it was asking for my Traveler information, etc., so I am certain it was there. But now it prices out at double what I was quoted. I suspect that the QR site just had a temporary glitch. I was wondering if this happens frequently.

That sounds great. Which site did you use to book the mixed class itinerary?

I was able to book it on the QR website. It's easy enough to book a simple out-and-back as a mixed class itinerary, but to get it with a multi-city, you need to do some research and find a leg that has no business class available whatsoever, then it'll offer you economy class selections for that direction only, appropriately priced.

Returning to Cairo or Luxor it was doable for less than £400!

"No fare can be found for the flights and/or cabins you selected. Please search again and select another cabin and/or different flights. (5685 - 2201)"

I was able to find your routing, but QR website won't book for me? Did you have a similar problem?

With some combinations, yes, but others would be allowed. Here's an example I've just checked that works so you can try to replicate:

From the homepage, choose multi-city booking and input the following, remembering also to tick the "show premium fares only" box and adding the promo code "VISA":

13/4 CAI-HKG (select the 19:20 departure arriving 21:30, should show as "economy")
5/5 KUL-LHR (select the 09:30 departure arriving 20:25, should show as "business")

Continue with "best fare" and voila you should have a total of 13,399 EGP (around £593). Availability is definitely lower across the board than it was even last night.

Thrilled with my $3517 for 2 JFK-SIN tickets. I've paid that for UA W class with upgrades. No comparison... Thanks for the person who noted the ~$1700 fare as the website showed ~$2000. I looked into specific dates and found the reduced fares.
