For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value):
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay:

Route(s) You've Already Searched:
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)?

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A NEW THREAD.
There are many good fares to China (PEK or PVG). If you have a Chinese visa, these options will be provided.

If your requested PQM is in a few thousand, please give a more accurate amount. You will get fewer options with a roundup number (eg, 5000 instead of 4830; IAD-SFO nonstop will work for the latter.)

Welcome to Flyertalk ^ EWR-PWM is $277, the best I see, and there are a few dates available at that price. if you really wanted to save money you could do OW economy and OW basic but not sure it's worth the $30 in case something happens.

Thanks, I called UA twice to figure out what accelerator would cost and could not get a straight answer. (i don't have another flight booked yet that i could use to check).

Is it possible i could find an option in the sub $300 range if i had a day to burn? I don't think i would go over $300 if I could do it for $525 without leaving.

try LAX-SAN JAN 15TH ticket will be $106, once booked log in to your reservation and look for award accelerator will give you an option to buy 4k extra miles for $100 then once you click on that it a pop up will say for an extra few hundred ( don't recall exact amount i think $300) purchase it and the cancel your flight for a full refund. (within 24hr)
miles will be added to your account once charge posts.

enjoy!

I can't seem to find anything better than this:

UA:CA$556 (US$413) YVR-TUL 4PQS (UA metal)
Mon 31 Dec
UA545 YVR-DEN 0745-1137
UA4580 DEN-TUL 1400-1639
UA4536 TUL-DEN 1718-1818
UA905 DEN-YVR 1900-2105

Not sure how I feel about doing this the last day of the year...may be safer doing on Sat 29 for a few bucks more.

UPDATE: Option out of YYC is significantly more:
UA:CA$772 (US$537) YYC-BZN
Fri 28 Dec

It's been 4 or 5 years since I was last 1K. I no longer travel as much as I used too so I stopped paying attention to accumulating miles. A December C Fare to Australia unexpectedly got me to just under 98K EQM. I've done some cursory searches and I found a BWI-IAH-DCA flight for $444 same day return. I also considered flying to Denver and skiing a couple days, although those fares are a bit more than I would normally pay. If anyone has less expensive options, I'd greatly appreciate your suggestions I looked into the premier mileage accelerator, but it appears you need to have a flight book to use that. Is that true? Thank you!

Departure Airport: BWI, IAD, DCA
Miles Needed: 2390 EQM for 1K
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value): No real max budget, just lower is better.
Available Travel Dates: 12/22-12/23, 12/27-12/31
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: Codeshares ok

See my post above same flight just buy the 4k option, will cost less than $500 and you don't have to leave home. Remember for the $500 you'd get 6 GPUs which is more than worth it, not sure about you but I use GPUs all the time and would not pass up on such an opportunity.

Once you purchased the extra miles you can cancel the flight right away.

DEN to PEK - TWICE ? Goal is 25,000 miles

Last minute decision to try and make it from Gold to Platinum.
I spent $2,200 buying United Airlines Award Accelerator and PQM's to make the 50,000 mile mark.
Instead of being an idiot like that again, I'd like to make use of my Visa to China and fly 25,000 more miles.

I'll circumnavigate the globe if anyone has a grand plan !!

Departure Airport: DEN
Miles Needed: 25,000
Required Spend or Maximum Budget (choose one, and state the value): No required spend, no idea on budget
Available Travel Dates: 12/19 to 12/23 (except 12/24 & 12/25) 12/26 to 12/31
Required Metal or Codeshares Okay: United (UA)

Route(s) You've Already Searched: DEN - PEK on Google flights
Do you have a Chinese Visa (Yes/No)? YES !!!
