I'm taking these flights JFK - LAX - DEN and DEN - LAX - JFK this weekend - should be a nice quick weekend. And it's going to be 60 degrees in Denver!
With the new Mileage Earning breakdowns, I should earn 13,320 (6,660 * 2) EQMs and (6,660 * 1.5) + 6,660 [Plat Bonus] + ((6,000 + 500)*2) [AA Bonus 2015-2016] = 29,650
Since the flight cost $510 dollars, we're looking at 1.72 cents per mile and 3.82 CPM for qualifying miles. Even the GF who doesn't have status will pull 2.21 cents per mile. Not bad at all.

Just got back from DEN after the long presidents day weekend. My return flight from LAX to JFK was delayed by about 2 hours, but if you are going to be stuck, AA Flagship lounge, and First CLass in the 3 class airplane, is not a bad place to be stuck
Overall, positive experience, AA A321T First Class product is Great, Amazing Drinks, Food was not supremely superior but passable as F - not even a close comparison with Emirates,or Singapore F.
LAX - DEN - LAX were on the E175 - not great, and they don't even have TV screens on the seat backs.
But can't complain for what I paid and flying cross country in A321T and earning 22,000+ miles
