Didn't read the thread and still haven't - I have not taken a pledge.

If you must know......booked the ticket and wanted to make a change before midnight. The fare was gone for what I wanted to do so I called and found that the rules had changed.
My call had nothing to do with Delta all of a sudden realizing that they needed to make a change.

Do you really think that this was a mistake??
They changed the fare to require 3 days but left the fare up......shhhh - don't tell Delta, maybe they still don't know how much their charging - jeez!

Flame off people - I know for a fact that daily reports are given to several airlines by a third party contractor that reviews this site daily for comments about their airline. If they don't know about any posting on here within 2 hours I would be surprised.

Anyways I would loved to grab this fare for my bday but no luck. Maybe next time.

If any online travel agency (OTA0 is willing to sell you the ticket for that price, then go ahead and book it.

The OTAs may still have access to remaining inventory, that Delta.com may not have.

If you go through www.ebates.com you may even get some cash back!

It seems expedia still has this available with the same fare bucket.

It's $658 now and routes through Australia Stop-overs are only $100 - nice way to get some fresh Sydney air

Nice routing, but no miles for this segment - flight is operated by Quantas.

Found some availability on DL, so I'm also in with positioning flight from PRG.

PRG-JFK, EWR-ATL-NRT-SIN-NRT-MSP-DFW-ATL-EWR, JFK-PRG. Approximately 30,5k MQM for 1250USD. 4,12cpMQM. 69k RDM. Not bad for one week trip.

Unless the 747-400 is one of the refurbished with the new seats I will take the 777 anytime.
But you need to factor all the cost (including non-financial) of the HDN to NRT transfer.

Just booked LAX-DTW-HND (20 hour layover in Tokyo, never been, so I can go explore)NRT-SIN, then on the way back SIN-NRT-HNL (14 hour layover in HNL, never been, so I can go explore)-LAX for $740 Nov 3rd-12th. 3.46 cpm. Should be a nice vacation. Still have to find airfare to and from LAX, but I have 8 months to figure that out.
