What is AF's cancellation policy? Do they have a within 24 hour for full refund? Like NWA/CO?

I'd just book two tickets, one for California-NYC and one for NYC-FCO, with enough time padded in for delays or alternatively using EWR to overnight, which has plenty of cheap hotel rooms if using points or hotwire/priceline.

You can hold the reservation (without paying) for 24hours.

Will it maintain the fare, or reprice if the fare goes up?

Either availability went through the floor or they're pulling it. Everything I was about to book just "repriced" a lot higher...

peace,
~Ben~

UPDATE: Nevermind... It was availability. I got one. :-)

I don't remember if I put in the name order correctly. On my confirmation email, it shows lastname firstname. But when I try to access my reservation on their website, I type in the confirmation and my last name and it could find my reservation so I guess I did it right.

Anyone knows if AF has elite seats? All the exit row and other good seats (for Jan flights) seems to be "occupied" already.
