You can probably skip the EWR-BOS on the return though.. as long as you don't have checked luggage.

Do you think this would change as it is on CO metal?

For CO it clearly states Air-Europa operated flights for those class distinctions. I think that you'll only get 50% EQM on CO if you choose to credit them there.

No. You would have to pay the HIP for departure but you could skip the return leg as was pointed out about. But you also lose the miles that you paid for the RT to BOS where you also are skipping the return.

Saw the same deal from ORD-BCN Air Europa 119$

On Travelocity. Couldn't book it though, tried every day from now through July and they don't fly from ORD that day...

I just got back from BCN and would love to go back, but probably not in Y and definitely not in a 737.

There's a separate thread on that, with booking instructions. It's still available on limited dates. Transatlantic would be CO metal on a 777.

Got it for my wife and myself. Used Travelocity. Outbound on Friday, October 21. Inbound on Monday, October 24. Total of $393.45 for both, including taxes, delivery, and service charge.

Thanks to the yevlesh2 and ScottC's fare deals e-mail list. ^

Now just have to figure out how to get from SAT-BOS. I guess I could use my WN Rapid Rewards tickets into MHT. Is there any easy and inexpensive ground transportation between MHT and BOS?

Finally, a cautionary note to others: please wait until we get our tickets issued to call CO for seat assignments, Air Europa, or any other powers that be. @:-)

A Newbie question

Hi everybody -

I see such low low fares sometimes come up including the United $1.86 fares. But I am afraid to book into these deals for these following reasons.

1. I will book hotel and car rentals for the corresponding dates and what if the airline decides to cancel my booking in the last minute. I will lose money on hotel and car rental reservations.

2. At what point can an airline cancel an individual booking. Can it cancel a booking after issuing a confirmation code thru E-ticket when it discovers that there was a online booking error. Or can it cancel a ticket after issuing a confirmed seat with a seat number ?? When does the airline take responsibility? I am mainly asking this question future as if some error makes an airline ticket to be $0.00 then I will happily book the ticket, but i need to make other plans also for travel .... I will appreciate any help in this regard ...

Dont have to answer this question ...

3. If the fare is as low as $0.00 (like on delta a few weeks back to Maine), the airline can cancel my booking at any time. I then have to deal with other issues. I would have already asked my Girl frnd to pack and prepare and how do i deal with her .... (Can i sue the airline for the emotional stress ?? )

Q. Still bookable... but not on dates that I can go

As per CO rules, it'd be 50%EQM unless booked at continental.com (which I doubt would work for this... unless since it's CO metal they abide their lowest fare guarantee... probably pushing it at best.
