Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.

A few requests for posting in the thread:

When posting 'Good deals' fares: please post the city pairs/airport codes and pricing in the body of the post and not just in the post title as it isn't visible for those reading it on mobile devices.

Saw ORD-ZRH-FCO // BCN-ZRH-ORD in September on SWISS for $440 if you are willing to buy Basic Economy, $560 if you want regular economy. Seems like a solid deal but not really in MR territory. Good PQP run on United though. Edit: Worth 991 PQP according to my calculation when you buy the $560 ticket, which seems like a decent value.

UA/AA. DFW <--> PHL low 60s BE.

Good availability mid Jan thru March. Expect to pay a lot more for main cabin though. UA also has $92 fares to PHL via IAH and ORD on Wed, Fri, and Saturdays.

AIr New Zealand: $545+ from the US to Rarotonga in the Cook Islands, spring/summer/fall. Saturday departures, 6 day stay. I found it from LAX/SFO/SEA, and later SCF emailed with more origins.

Fare code is G, so earns bupkus on most *A partners (and 25% on UA), though a surprising 75% on OZ!

PAE-PDX is $53 roundtrip Tue/Wed/Sat (or -$5 for <4h turns) through mid March. AS Saver (basic economy) fare accrues 1000 miles.

Maybe not mileage run worthy, unless you're really tight to a threshold, which I can't imagine anyone would be this early in the year, BUT, a helluva price.

Great price for those of us in YVR as well as the flights from here are usually 5-6x that price. The biggest downside is the PAE parking, it's valet only and it's like $35 a day.

Air Canada has a 20% off sale until January 22 for flights within Canada as well as to/from the US (fly until June 15). That's not remarkable as such, but there are some fine deals to be head.

I've booked YXY-YVR-SEA for CAD 168 (Economy Standard)
and
SEA-YUL-YQB for CAD 152 (Economy Standard).

YYZ-PTY-HOG-PTY-YYZ $264 on COPA

Seems like a good fare .....Free stopover in PTY available but have to pay taxes

Selling Class L so I believe 50% miles

Used Apr 17 -24 to check with on Copa site Long layover (overnight) in PTY on outbound leg if you don't do a stopover
