"Good Deals" in Economy Class - Excellent Fares between certain city pairs - 2011

I guess its time to officially accept the new decade and start a new thread for the 2011 fares thought i do this good deed. Happy new year all.

I am seeing JFK-NRT-JFK fares on AA for about 831. If you route it through LAX thats 15852 EQM, and even better if u can route it to include DFW-LAX-DFW or vice versa to get close to 19000 with the LASF2.

Air China: JFK-PEK-HKG-PEK-HKG $628a/i

not a great mile earning potential because discounted economy is 50% on all *A, but a great fare nonetheless to HKG. : )

I'm guessing the OP meant JFK-PEK-HKG-PEK-JFK....but from the east coast, that definitely is a good deal! Thanks for sharing!

I checked these out. I am seeing great fares for BKK, HKG, etc.

But, they are on CA ... discounted Y on CA only earns 50% EQM and RDM. So the price per EQM is much higher than the actual fare.

First post on this thread, so please be gentle!

My DW gave me an AA gift card for my birthday and I really want to burn it while I still have EXP status on AA.

Playing around I found the following: JFK-MIA-MCO-MIA-JFK.
Leave JFK at 1040am, return at 2305.

226 ai, same day turn. 3180 EQMs for an elite, 6360 RDMs for a PLT/EXP and toward Lifetime Status.

Available most Saturdays in late JAN-FEB

First seg is on a 777 so elites can select what is normally NGBC seats on the outbound. Sadly the rest is on 757s.

Rare/excellent fare btw Miami & Galapagas on LAN: from $630 couch and $1,500 Biz +tax

I just saw that ad on seat guru and checked it out. Many dates are still available in February at the lowest price. I've been thinking about visiting Galapagas for a long time, and the only two Equadorian companies that fly there charge consistantly around $400 or more just for short flight from Quito.

I think it's a fantastic deal for anyone who's interested in that destination.
