that's a pretty good fare...there were some fares like that on aa that let you even take a stop over in the US on the way to brazil

Best part of the above fare is it doesn't even require setting foot on a MH plane. Similar price (but higher CPM) is available out of LAX via NRT, Also MH codes but no MH metal.
