Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.

While AC occasionally runs cheap fares to YYZ/YUL from DFW, I don't believe I've ever seen a fare this low from AA/US.
Same-day turns available in Sept, but I'm looking at this more as a way to grab a cheap vacation in a very nice city. But, ironically, multi-day stays are actually a few bucks more than same-day turns.
Sample dates: 09SEP - 09SEP, $328. Available on both the AA (select 'oneworld' as the carrier) and US websites.

I booked this rate for a trip to Beirut, Lebanon and feel it is a good rate for the miles we will acrue. United from IAD to BEY connecting thru Dubai for $706 in Februrary. Thought I would post it. We were going to berut anyway so I am a happy camper with this. K fare Might work for others here.

Good CUN sale today on AA/US. Not mileage run worthy, but good deals anyways...

I was able to find ABC-MIA-CUN-MIA-ABC on AA and US Airways from $260 RT in August-December today. ABC-CLT-MIA-CUN-MIA-CLT-ABC or ABC-LGA-CUN-LGA-ABC is also available for around a few bucks more. Very good availability - Friday's, Sunday's... the works. One ways are also available for half the price - $130 ow.
Looks like DEN/IAH/EWR/BOS is also included from $150 ow. Probably a bunch of other cities as well.

Yes, that is true, but $706 is a great price from IAD to DXB and we will get 14,000 miles apiece roundtrip for that part of it. DXB from IAD is usually a lot higher fare, and we were going to Beirut anyway. This is a birthday trip for DH. All the other connections from IAD were thru other cities, and we would have gotten less miles and oddly enogh paid more. I couldn't that out confused: That's the only reason I even forund this fare. We also got a fantastic rate in Beirut at the Radisson Blu that includes breakfast. I'm Gold on Club carlson so we will also get a room upgrade and free internet. Its turning out to be a very inexpensive trip. Just hope things stay peaceful .
