Check out this Newark to Shanghai option on United at $959.50 for 18,326 miles at 5.2cpm for minimum 5 night stay in what I can see. Looks like availability each day Sept 25-30, Oct 31 and most days in November and Dec 1-2. A 1 or 2 night MR would be $100 more. Just use the ITA website and search all of Sept. Put IAH and SFO on the outbound in ITA and SFO and IAH on the way back.

celebrating the reintroduction of seasonsal n/s service i guess. i only found dates in the last week of May which is why i am posting here and not in a new thread.
US changed this to a redeye ex-SMF, it used to be a daytime flight on the same schedule as the UA flight to IAD. the ex-PHL flight leaves there around 6pm, so it is possible for those in PHL to pick up a quick 5k miles in <12 hours.

Check out this Newark to Shanghai option on United at $959.50 for 18,326 miles at 5.2cpm for minimum 5 night stay in what I can see. Looks like availability each day Sept 25-30, Oct 31 and most days in November and Dec 1-2. A 1 or 2 night MR would be $100 more. Just use the ITA website and search all of Sept. Put IAH and SFO on the outbound in ITA and SFO and IAH on the way back.
