Probably not MR-worthy, but I found LAX-GIG r/t fares at $941 on AA (Jun/Jul).
I was able to book it as a one-way for $570 and upgrade space cleared immediately.
Connections through JFK, DFW and MIA all seem to price out the same

Not MR material but certainly a great fare (especially at short notice) for this route.

Ha: Sfo-akl 5.65 cpm
Per The Flight Deal, Hawaiian Air (HA) has SFO-AKL available for $767 a.i. after a $200-off coupon.
L class on HA earns 100% on AA
With a total of 13,574 miles per GCM, this should yield ~5.65 CPM. Not a true-MR but a very nice vacation run.

This fare goes and comes back with AA for the route. I'll probably book one now, simply because I haven't been to Colorado yet, thanks for the post. Will note that availability on Fridays and Sundays is much lower than MON/TUE/WED/THU/SAT, to the point of almost nonexistence.

UA/DL: LAX-STR/DUS. $784 for late summer travel. Identical pricing from DL and UA.
Seems like a pretty good price for August travel to Germany. Loads of availability for Mon-Thu travel.
STR seems to have better availability than DUS.
The earliest departure I've found is 22JUL, but with an August return.
(More realistic) Sample dates: 07AUG - 13AUG.
For UA, this is a K fare, but I've yet to find dates without at least one LH or AC segment, so be forwarned. Also, I sometimes can't pull up the fare directly on dot.bomb, but I never have a problem if I first choose my itinerary with Google flights and then select "book on united.com". (I never fly with UA, so I'm a novice with their booking tricks.)
EDIT: Also wanted to mention that this fare goes out through EoS, and gets slightly cheaper, and includes weekends, meaning that immediate turns are available.
Sample dates: 15FEB - 16FEB, $770 on UA/LH.
