  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

I'm getting all F for under $2k. Just gotta be creative with routing. EY, CX, TG all showing some F depending on routes.

Thanks!
Doesn't go both ways, but you can fly East this time. I can see CMB-BKK-ICN-LAX all on TG and other routes for sub $1600 in business.

Any suggested EK routing that's under 2k? I keep getting prices for 4 to 5k. Thanks in advance.

I don't see any change w/ Emirates, at least using the method I used to successfully book three of these over the past 6 months. Fare still appears dead on EK to me but, as mentioned above, still works on others.

If your connection at LHR takes you over 24H in the realm, the APD will most certainly add £134 ($200+) to your ticket. Stay under 24H and it's zero.

Don't forget Heathrow's very own charges: £40/£30 per departing/transfer passenger.

Ok, I will bite. How are you getting a stopover in DXB? Can you please show an example?

I think I can get CX route in J for $2k, but F, really? Any insights would be appreciated.

I used to be able to get a stopover in DXB on the return leg. Unfortunately the return legs are almost impossible to price these days.

Try looking over a month for a routing on ita that is forced through dxb (eg cmb:: ek dxb f+) then once you find a day with availability, use that as the first segment and then try looking for dxb - XXX on later days

I was planning summer travel from NCE and found that LH has recently posted a summer Med special from Canada to various destinations. Fares begin around CAD $3,200 from YUL and higher from YYZ/YVR. Note the long return period ie into December. I just did a test booking and it actually priced out lower than the posted fares, FYI.

Conditions for this offer
Purchase by: 01.06.2013
Departure period: 21.06.2013-08.09.2013
Return period: 24.06.2013-08.12.2013
Fares are indicated in Canadian Dollars.
Fares are for Business Class based for midweek travel; weekend surcharges may apply.
Changes: Permitted; $400 change fee.
Refunds: Permitted before departure; $500 are non-refundable

Sale excludes LHR but BA just released slightly higher fares similar dates which include LHR
