  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

I had been looking for a trip to Spain on UA/LH for August and in economy the flights were around $1,300 and $2,600 for Business. Now, the same flight in Business was $1,980 so I decided to get it. Great Deal for summer time.

Wow UA <1900 SFO-LHR is a steal. Lets you route on AC easily too. The 10 day minimum is long but maybe doable, work a few days out of London while in hostel/on points stays, visit my sister in Glasgow...very tempting

The following are not permissible:
• No changes between origin, destination, or co-terminals (such as New York’s LaGuardia and JFK airports).
• No changes to routing for fares that are flight specific or require specific routing.

LGA and JFK are not co-terminals; they're the same city (both NYC).

As per IATA definition “Co-Terminal means specified cities which may be considered the same point for determination of journey type.”

In other words, they are two or more relatively adjacent cities which for the purposes of fare construction will be considered the same point. e.g. BWI-WAS, FLL-MIA, OAK-SFO-SJC, LAX-ONT-BUR-LGB-SNA, NYC-EWR.

It's frustrating when the airline itself (I realize you're copying their website) does not understand its own terms!! I presume they meant to say no changes of origin or destination airport, even in cities/areas with multiple ones. Very sloppy.

+1

I am seeing a mix of P and Z fares, ORD to MAD < $2000 into July.

Doesnt seem to allow for any creative routings as far as I can tell. Adding a second stop jacks the fare up 3x.

Really great find, CokeandTaco. But since this books into A, doesn't it produce 150% MQM? That would mean it would generate 8,634 EQM at 5.76 CPM, right?
