  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

AA ex-US to FRA Biz fares that book into A ~$5400

First time posting, and not sure if this is considered a good deal for this forum, but I tend to think it is.

AA has fare, DRUP, that books into first at a cost less than I for those heading to FRA (didn't check other destinations) from US (LAX,WAS,ORD) starting at about $3550 (according to EF) + YR and taxes (~$5400 on avg).

Key restriction:

- June to Sep Departures
- Min Stay 1st Sunday/ Max Stay 30 days from dep
- The transatlantic segment must pass through DFW on AA flight

For international destinations, government taxes and fees of up to $340 varying by destination, are included.
Purchase
Requirements: Reservations are required and prices shown are for U.S. origination only. Tickets booked on aa.com must be purchased at least 28 days prior to departure, or within 1 day of making reservations, whichever comes first, but no later than 11:59 p.m. (CT) May 16, 2013.
Travel Days: Prices are valid for travel daily.
Travel Period: Sale prices are valid for travel to London between June 28 and August 31, 2013. All travel needs to be complete by September 5, 2013.

I got an email over the weekend showing a 50% off business class fare on Saudia in May. Prices from JFK were $2200.

That said, a quick Google search should give you quite a bit of info, and if that doesn't work, go to the ITA Matrix site (where the EK fare has disappeared, also, btw), plug in CMB-LAX/SFO/PHX/etc. and start wetting your appetite.

As for "nicely priced," think CMB-[USA], all in F suites, for under $2k.
It's baaack! Looks like any airline (including EK), any route from CMB to North America under $2k!! Easy to book too.

Probably not worth going to that particular origin for at that price. Better off just paying for a route that is already in the plans.

Does it go both ways? SFO>LHR>DXB>CMB? Also - is it available on *A?

Thanks!

1500 for J still ain't bad though, this fare allows unlimited stopovers. I haven't tried fully massaging it, but I can definitely get a stopover in MLE and DXB, and probably could also get one in LHR with more effort. (but might trigger APD??)

Unless you hear otherwise, you can safely assume international fare are never good in the other direction.
